Medical Check-Up Camp at Maltibaug Agro Tourism

Project Info

On 13 January 2024, Kiran Foundation Trust organized a comprehensive health welfare drive at Maltibaug Agro Tourism, located in Bordi, Dahanu taluka of Palghar district. Remote tribal belts in this region often encounter challenges in accessing timely general healthcare consultations and essential medications.

To bridge this gap while creating a joyful, supportive environment for young learners, our organization brought together medical specialists, student volunteers, and community partners to serve local Adivasi school students and villagers.

  • Multi-Institutional Support: The camp was successfully executed with active support from key partners—the NSS Unit of Thakur Polytechnic, medical experts from Nalasopara Ayurvedic College, and the We Club of Thane Lake City.

  • Community Health Awareness: Guidance was shared with local families regarding basic hygiene, seasonal illness prevention, and nutritional well-being for growing children.
