On 15 February 2023, Kiran Foundation Trust Nagpur organized a comprehensive multi-faceted social welfare initiative at Bordi village, located in the Dahanu taluka of Palghar district. Remote tribal and coastal village pockets frequently encounter barriers in accessing regular specialized healthcare, essential relief resources, and career guidance for young students.

To address these interconnected challenges through a single coordinated drive, Kiran Foundation Trust collaborated with key institutional partners—the NSS wing of Thakur Polytechnic, Kandivali and the Ghodbunder Road Doctors Association—to deliver integrated support directly to the doorstep of Bordi’s residents.

The day-long outreach event integrated physical healthcare, essential relief, and youth encouragement into a single cohesive community drive:

  • Free Medical Check-Up Camp: In partnership with medical professionals from the Ghodbunder Road Doctors Association, our team provided free general diagnostic screenings, medical consultations, and health advice to local villagers and elders.

  • Essential Clothes & Food Distribution: To support needy families and ease daily economic strains, volunteers distributed clean clothing items and nutritious food packages across local households.

  • Student Motivation & Career Guidance Sessions: Interactive lectures and motivational addresses were conducted for school students, focusing on health hygiene, personal discipline, academic perseverance, and future career opportunities.

  • Youth & Community Collaboration: Student volunteers from the NSS wing of Thakur Polytechnic actively participated in ground management, logistics, and direct beneficiary assistance, fostering a spirit of civic responsibility and social service.
