At Kiran Foundation Trust, we consider access to safe drinking water and basic sanitation to be a fundamental human right, not a luxury. In many remote, tribal, and hard-to-reach pockets, families still walk long distances for water that is often unsafe, leading to severe waterborne diseases, missed school days for children, and lost economic opportunities for adults.

Our Clean Water & Sanitation Initiative is dedicated to reaching the most vulnerable populations in underserved regions—bringing safe drinking water, hygienic infrastructure, and essential health education directly to their communities.

Our Strategic Approach to Water & Sanitation

To deliver sustainable and lasting impact, our clean water strategy combines infrastructure development, local resource management, and community-led hygiene practices:

Safe Water Access & Filtration: Installing reliable community water purification systems, borehole filtration units, and clean storage tanks in remote villages to eliminate harmful contaminants and pathogens.
Sanitation Infrastructure: Building safe, accessible, and clean toilet facilities in rural schools and community spaces to restore personal dignity and reduce public health risks.
Focus on Vulnerable Groups: Prioritizing marginalized families, tribal hamlets, elderly residents, and school-going children who suffer most from water scarcity and contamination.
