In January 2020, severe winter weather swept across the region, bringing a harsh and lingering cold wave to the interior villages of the Gadchiroli district. For underprivileged families living in remote areas, surviving the extreme temperatures without basic protective gear becomes a daily struggle.
To address this urgent need, our Trust organized and conducted a Blanket Donation Drive in the interior hamlets of Garanji and Garanji Tola, located in the Chamorshi taluka.

Bringing Respite During a Harsh Cold Wave
The remote location of Garanji and Garanji Tola makes accessing timely relief during seasonal crises difficult. Recognizing the vulnerability of elderly residents, children, and low-income households in these interiors, our team directly reached out to the villagers to distribute heavy, high-quality warm blankets.
This initiative was aimed at offering immediate relief and protection against winter-related illness. The distribution drive ensured that:
